Marwa El Yassi is an Assistant Professor at the International University of Casablanca (UIC). Before joining UIC, she worked as an Lecturer and Researcher at ECAM-EPMI, an engineering school in Paris, where she was actively involved in teaching and research in the field of civil and building engineering.
Her research interests focus on the enhancement of the thermal performance of buildings, with a particular emphasis on sustainable solutions for improving occupant comfort and energy efficiency.
One of her main research directions is the integration of innovative materials, such as phase change materials (PCMs), into construction systems to optimize thermal regulation and reduce energy demand.
Dr. El Yassi holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from CY Cergy Paris University, where her doctoral work combined experimental and numerical approaches to explore advanced building materials for energy-efficient construction.
In addition to her research activities, she is dedicated to teaching and mentoring students, bridging academic knowledge with practical applications in sustainable building technologies.
